Week 6 of Deeper State Keto
This blog post and the next couple are going to be a little different in that it won’t be a full week of DSK. Let me explain more. I will be camping from Thursday to Thursday and I won’t be able to work on my site like I can at home. Therefore, this current post will be my week from Monday to Wednesday in week 6. I’m also not going to do this post as a day by day one either. Nothing really happened that was exciting to talk about anyway for each day.
Camping and Staying on Track
Just because you are not going to be home, does not mean that’s a good reason to not stay the course. It would be 100% easier just to bring keto foods with me as I go camping. However, this would not help me in the slightest. I love meal planning but when I did this meal plan for camping, it was a little daunting at times. Whatever I brought and planned, is what I had to eat. There would be no real big changes that I could do. Of course, if I didn’t want a hot dog as planned and wanted a burger instead, this could be a possibility. However, only after I relook at my macros for the day. If it means taking a little more effort in how I eat on vacation, then be it. My goals don’t go on vacation when I do.
Camping Meal Plan
Once I print out my meal plan for the week, I plan to take photos of it on my Instagram Account. Until then, this is a rough idea of my plans.
I now have the meal plan up on my site, here. It just doesn’t have the detailed macros on my blog for each food item.
Breakfast: Butter Coffee
Lunch: Lunch Meat with Cheese
Dinner: brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, breakfast foods, and steak. The only steak that I’ll do on this program is one that is prepackaged and it gives the nutrition on that one piece of steak. I know this is also not ideal but it’s way better than just getting a cut of steak and guessing more at what the macros are.
My Progress so Far on Deeper State Keto
Purchasing this course has been one of the best things I have done for myself recently. I have been responding really well and it’s defantly rewarding. If I ever need help with anything I’ve had it on the forums. I can over analyze and over think things, so getting another view is great.
Yesterday, I did another inbody scan. My muscle mass is not where I want it to be, however, I’m basically the same from where I started. My body fat has dropped by around 1%. This doesn’t seem like much but I have lost around 9 pounds now. I’ve had to get new jeans, new bras and I still need a new swimsuit and new summer shorts. Inches are going down and this definitely puts a smile on my face. I also want to note that getting an inbody is not perfect and there are many variables with it. I try to keep things as similar as I can from the last, but it’s still not ideal.
The crazy thing in all of this progress is that I’ve lost 9 pounds of fat in only 38 days! I started at 143.6 pounds and my height is 5 feet and 5.5 inches. It just blows my mind. I wasn’t even that large as I started this course.
