Keto Supplements
Magnesium: I use this drink to easily get water in as well. Magnesium is an important electrolyte while on the ketogenic way of eating. I also use these if I don't want to take Natural Calm drink every day.
Potassium: I use lite salt as an easy way to get my potassium in if I'm not consuming enough potassium from food.
Fish oil: If you eat enough fish each week, you will want to invest in a fish oil supplement. Get one with both DHA & EPA. If you are burping up a fishy taste, then the quality is not where you want it. Once you get the supplement store it in your fridge to help it from going bad.
Keto Kitchen Tools
Avocado Cuber: This tool has made my life much easier. Yes cutting an avocado isn't really hard but this tool is amazing! Sadly you can only find this tool from Williams-sonoma.
Measuring cups and table/teaspoons: To help with recipes and measuring your food intake. I love these metal spoons as they will last longer and the measurement is engraved in them. They are also rectangular and I've found them easier to put into some spice containers. These are great measuring cups.
Food Scale: This will help you get exact measurements and really knowing just how much food you are really eating. I have found a loving to this scale here.
Cutting board: Have one for meat and one for produce to make your life a little simpler when cooking and to avoid cross-contamination.
Keto Kitchen Ingredients
Almond Flour and Coconut Flour for baking. Coconut flour is less expensive but it can not be equally substituted equally with almond flour. You will also need more moisture ingredients when using coconut flour.
Hemp Hearts and chia seeds for lots of ideas: keto oatmeal, sprinkled on top of salads or put into smoothies. The option can be endless. Hemp hearts are great for you for many reasons: rich in omega 3 with an ideal ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 (1:3), a great source of protein, iron and dietary fiber. (1) Chia seeds are also great for you: 30% RDA for magnesium, 9 grams of fat (5 are omega 3s), rich in fiber, andB1 (Thiamine) and B2. (2)
Your choice of alternative sugar: I'm currently loving stevia sweet drops and monk fruit with erythritol.
